WTA Makes Recommendations to FCC on USAC Audit Reform

Last Friday, WTA filed comments in response to the FCC’s Public Notice asking for reforms of USAC’s processes and oversight. In its comments, WTA recognized USAC audits play an important accountability role, but, at times, depending on how they are conducted, can also place significant burdens on small rural broadband providers and are a strain on their limited resources. In that spirit, WTA made several recommendations to the FCC regarding how audits can be modified to mitigate the deleterious effects they sometimes have.
