WTA and ITA File Comments in Support of Silver Star Communications

Today, WTA and the Idaho Telecom Alliance (ITA) filed comments in support of Silver Star Communications’ request to the FCC for a review and reversal of the Wireline Competition Bureau’s (WCB) refusal to correct road mile, road crossing and population density data.  This data was used to calculate the benchmarks for the Quantile Regression Analysis. WTA and ITA urge the Commission to review and reverse the WCB’s Order, and to recalculate Silver Star’s benchmarks and high cost loop support for the relevant 2012 and 2013 periods on the basis of the more accurate data.
