WTA Recommends Indefinite Freeze of Separations Rules
Yesterday, WTA encouraged the Federal-State Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations to recommend the continuation of an indefinite freeze – with a voluntary, one-time option for companies to unfreeze/refreeze/freeze – while the Joint Board and the FCC work out the details for simplifying and streamlining the separations processes. WTA’s filing is in response to the FCC’s Public Notice seeking comment on behalf of the Joint Board on Part 36 separations rules.
