WTA Announces New Board Member
WTA is pleased to announce that Ms. Darby McCarty of Smithville Communications in Ellettsville, IN has joined its Board of Directors. “It is an honor to have Darby join the WTA board of directors,” said Kelly Worthington, WTA’s Executive Vice President. “As Smithville’s president, CEO and chairman, Darby brings many years of experience, expertise and innovative thinking to WTA’s board, and I look forward to her joining our team in this capacity,” said Worthington.
Smithville Communications has been a member of WTA since 2010. While WTA’s membership is comprised primarily of telecommunications companies located west of the Mississippi, earlier this year the association’s membership approved changes to its by-laws to add three board seats for members east of the Mississippi River.
