WTA Supports President’s Re-Nomination of Ajit Pai to Chair FCC

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 8, 2017) – WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband supports President Donald Trump’s decision to re-nominate Ajit Pai to another term and to continue to serve as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.

“WTA looks forward to continuing to work with Chairman Pai to advance a number of issues important to small, rural telecommunications providers,” said Derrick Owens, WTA’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “We hope the Senate acts quickly on his re-nomination as there is much work to be done ensuring broadband gets built out to those living and working in rural areas.”
