WTA Praises the Renomination of Jessica Rosenworcel

WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband supports the renomination of Jessica Rosenworcel to serve on the Federal Communications Commission.

“Today we learned that President Obama has renominated Jessica Rosenworcel to serve another term as a commissioner at the FCC,” said Derrick Owens, WTA’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Jessica has served the Commission and communications industry well over the past four years. She has a strong knowledge and understanding of our nation’s communications laws. Equally as important, she has been extremely thoughtful in her approach to implementing the laws while also remaining open to all viewpoints from within industry. We hope that in the very near future the Senate will move quickly on her renomination so that she can get back to working on the many issues that are important in today’s broadband world.”
