WTA Meets With Chairman Pai’s Office to Discuss USF, Lifeline, Rate-floor
On March 2, representatives from WTA’s staff met with Jay Schwarz, Wireline Advisor to Chairman Ajit Pai. WTA advocated for full funding of the ACAM and RoR USF paths as well as a elimination or suspension of the telephone rate-floor requirements. In addition, WTA noted its proposed unsubsidized competitor form submitted last year and concerns about the phase-out of Lifeline voice support.
