WTA Files Reply Comments Regarding Toll-Free 8YY Services

On August 15, WTA filed reply comments in response to an FCC Public Notice asking parties to refresh the record regarding 8YY access reform. In its comments, WTA stated there is no need “for the Commission to jump precipitously into 8YY access reform.” The current abuse “can be investigated, addressed, punished and stopped by the Commission at this time under a variety of existing statutory provisions and rules.”
