WTA Congratulates Anna Gomez on Confirmation to FCC
WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 7, 2023) – WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband congratulates Anna Gomez on her Senate confirmation to serve as a commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission.
“We’re pleased to see the Senate act earlier today on President Biden’s nomination of Anna Gomez to serve on the Federal Communications Commission,” said Derrick Owens, WTA’s Senior Vice President of Government & Industry Affairs. “It’s important that the FCC has a full five commissioners so it can do the job it needs to, in particular ensuring that broadband reaches all Americans. We look forward to working with her in her new role.”
