WTA and Industry Partners Ask Congress to Fund Program to Ensure Communications Network is Secure
Today, WTA along with several industry partners sent a letter to Congressional leadership requesting that when they consider policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, that they “provide appropriation funding for implementation of the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act.”
The Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act created a fund through which the FCC can reimburse communications providers for removing and replacing equipment judged to be a national security risk.
