WTA’s Educational Planning Committee Seeks Session Topics and Speakers for the 2024 Fall Educational Forum

WTA’s Educational Planning Committee invites you to share your knowledge and expertise with the attendees at the 2024 WTA Fall Educational Forum (October 6-9, 2024, Indian Wells, California). WTA has always offered a remarkable lineup of education and networking opportunities targeting the needs and concerns of the WTA membership.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
The deadline for submitting session proposals for the Fall Educational Forum is May 31st, 2024. All proposals must be submitted through the 2024 EDUCATIONAL SESSION SUBMISSION [link here]. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. A separate proposal must be submitted for each proposed session.

WTA Fall Forum Registration & Payment

Register for WTA’s Educational Forum by clicking Register & Payment below. Once you have completed the Registration process, you will have the opportunity to pay via credit card or request to be invoiced. Payment for invoices must be received within 10 days to avoid increased registration fees.

Fall Registration Information

  • WTA Member Full Registration:
    $995 by August 6 / $1,095 after August 6 / $1,195 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and social events (does not include golf).
  • Associate Members Sponsoring Registration:
    $995 by August 6 / $1,095 after August 6 / $1,195 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and social events (does not include golf). Associate Members who sponsor a minimum of $2,000 will receive this registration. Sponsoring registration discounts are noted on the registration form.
  • Associate Members NON-Sponsoring Registration:
    $1,095 by August 6 / $1,195 after August 6 / $1,295 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and social events (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Telco Member Full Registration:
    $1,395 by August 6 / $1,495 after August 6 / $1,595 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and social events (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Associate Member Registration:
    $1,995 by August 6 / $2,095 after August 6
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, and receptions (does not include golf).
  • Spouse/Guest/Children 5 and older Registration (not a telco, broadband provider, association, vendor or employee in the industry):
    $250 by August 6 / $275 after August 6 / $300 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance to the Welcome Reception Monday Night Tailgate Party, and the Dessert Reception (does not include golf). Single event tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.  Contact Taylor for registration pricing for children under 5.
  • WTA Golf Tournament – Monday, October 7th, 2024
    $200 by August 6 / $250 after August 6 (if space available)
    • Includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service, box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament.

Cancellation Policy and Liability

WTA will refund 50% of registration fees (golf and sponsorships will not receive any refund) if written notice of cancellation (kelly@w-t-a.org) is received on or before August 6, 2024 (phone call cancellations will not be accepted). No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after August 6, 2024.

It is mutually agreed that WTA is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property, or personal injuries resulting from any cause. All claims for any such loss, damage or injury are expressly waived by the attendee or exhibitor.

FALL FORUM HOTEL ROOM RATE:
WTA’s contracted standard Run of the House guest room rates are $269, per night, based on single/double occupancy, doesn’t include the $15 per day resort fee (discounted from $40 per day). The WTA room rate applies only to the nights of Sunday, October 6; Monday, October 7; Tuesday, October 8th –  IF rooms are available in WTA’s room block.  As of April 26th, we have completely sold out of our room block.  WTA staff is working with the Resort to see if they have additional rooms available to add to our group block.  Below are suggested hotels near the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells.

Room bed types are not guaranteed in group discount rates and based on availability at the time of guest check-in. Room rates may be subject to additional fees and taxes at the time of check in (i.e. resort fee, state and local taxes, parking fees, etc.).

Group rates apply only to WTA registered attendees (full/social) and attending the WTA Fall Educational Forum. Guests not registered to attend WTA’s Fall Meeting, but appearing under the groups room block, will be subject to a rate change and removed from WTA’s room block. Hotel check-in time begins at 4:00p. Hotel check-out time is 11:00a.

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION:
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit and/or guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE:
The Hotel may add an early checkout fee of one room night and tax to the guest’s individual account for early departures. Attendees wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the Hotel at least a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to avoid early departure fees. Be sure to review the Hotel’s early departure policy at the time of booking.

WTA Fall Golf Tournament | Monday, October 7th, 2024

Start: Check In 12:00pm and Shot Gun Start is at 12:30pm.

Location: Indian Wells Golf Course, 44-500 Indian Wells Lane, Indian Wells, CA

The Indian Wells Golf Resort is next door to the Hyatt Regency within walking distance. It features a magnificent 53,000 square-foot clubhouse and is one of the few properties to have two courses ranked in the Top 25 “Best Municipal Courses in the United States by Golfweek Magazine. The Celebrity Course & Players Course AKA “Beauty and the Beast” have hosted Golf Channel’s Big Break and the PGA’s Skins Game.

Cost Per Player: $200 by August 6 / $250 after August 6 if space is available. Includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service, box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament. Transportation will not be provided to/from the Brackenridge Park Golf Course. Golf club rentals will be handled through the golf course.

Teams: Pairing requests will not be accepted. Golf pairings will be selected as follows: All associate member and member golfers will be divided evenly among all the teams. Spouses will be paired together.

A minimum of 60 golfers will be required for a shotgun start. Be sure to check with the WTA Registration Desk prior to the Tournament to verify rules, teams and shot gun start/tee times. Proper golf attire required (including Practice Facilities) to include collared shirts and spikeless shoes. Rental clubs are available for $80 per set. Contact the Indian Wells Golf Resort to reserve a set.

Fall Educational Forum Attire

Resort casual is the dress throughout WTA’s Fall Educational Forum (unless otherwise noted). Just as a reminder it is difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature for everyone in the meeting rooms. Please bring a jacket or sweater for your comfort. Be sure to bring your football jersey for the Monday Night Tailgate Party!

RUS Meetings Available

Private meetings with RUS representatives from Washington, DC will be scheduled on Monday and Tuesday. WTA invites you to take advantage of these one-on-one meetings. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the RUS information on the Registration Form to schedule your meeting times.
