Rural Associations File Letter on A-CAM With FCC

Today, NECA, WTA and NTCA sent a letter to the FCC in response the FCC’s recent Public Notice on the Alternative Connect America Model (A-CAM). In their letter, the associations express appreciation for “the visibility provided by this Public Notice into the ongoing work by the [Wireline Competition Bureau],” however the letter makes clear that there are other issues that the associations and industry consultants have brought up with the FCC in previous filings and meetings that “should be examined too in improving the model’s accuracy for RLECs.”
