Rural Associations Send Letter to FCC on LNP Vendor

Today, WTA, NTCA, RICA and RBA sent a Notice of ex parte to the FCC reminding it that under the Regulatory Flexibility Act it must conduct an analysis prior to selecting a new Local Number Portability vendor to “evaluate the effects of proposed regulatory changes such as this transition [to a new vendor] on small businesses and, if any impacts arise, identify ways to mitigate costs and burdens imposed on small businesses.”
