WTA, Allies Meet With Wireline Competition Bureau Staff

On November 23, representatives from WTA, NTCA, NECA, USTelecom, TDS, Totah Communications and FWA met with staff of the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau to discuss several issues related to USF reform. The association representatives discussed the data-only broadband proposal, additional reforms to the QRA and a new Capital Budget Mechanism as an alternative to the QRA as currently implemented. A Notice of ex parte with additional details was filed yesterday.
