Congress Sends Two Letters to FCC on QRA

Today, 26 Senators, lead by Senators John Tester (MT) and John Barrasso (WY), sent a letter to newly sworn in FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler noting that the FCC’s USF reforms, in particular the quantile regression analysis, have created uncertainty in rural areas and that the FCC must do more to “reestablish predictably, sufficiency and transparency.”

A similar letter was sent last week by members of the House Western Caucus, led by Rep. Steve Pearce (NM).
