Rural Associations Meet with FCC Staff to Discuss Rural Call Completion

On January 29th, representatives from WTA, NECA, NTCA and OPASTCO met with staff from FCC Commissioners Rosenworcel and McDowell’s offices to discuss the continued problems of telephone calls not being completed in rural America.  As with previous meetings, the associations urged “the Commission to adopt a compressed comment cycle in its forthcoming notice and seek expedited publication in the Federal Register.”
