WTA’s Educational Planning Committee Seeks Session Topics and Speakers for 2024 Educational Forums

WTA’s Educational Planning Committee invites you to share your knowledge and expertise with the attendees at the 2024 WTA Spring Educational Forum (April 14-17, 2024, San Antonio, Texas) or 2024 WTA Fall Educational Forum (October 6-9, 2024, Indian Wells, California). WTA has always offered a remarkable lineup of education and networking opportunities targeting the needs and concerns of the WTA membership.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
The deadline for submitting session proposals for the Spring Educational Forum is Friday, December 15, 2023 and the deadline for submitting session proposals for the Fall Educational Forum is May 3, 2024. All proposals must be submitted through the 2024 EDUCATIONAL SESSION SUBMISSION [link here]. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. A separate proposal must be submitted for each proposed session.

WTA Spring Forum Registration & Payment

Register for WTA’s Educational Forum by clicking Register & Payment below. Once you have completed the Registration process, you will have the opportunity to pay via credit card or request to be invoiced. Payment for invoices must be received within 10 days to avoid increased registration fees.

Spring Registration Information

  • WTA Member Full Registration:
    $995 by February 16 / $1,095 after February 16 / $1,195 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, breaks and 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party (does not include golf).
  • Associate Members Sponsoring Registration:
    $995 by February 16 / $1,095 after February 16 / $1,195 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, breaks and 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party (does not include golf). Associate Members who sponsor a minimum of $2,000 will receive this registration. Sponsoring registration discounts are noted on the registration form.
  • Associate Members NON-Sponsoring Registration:
    $1,095 by February 16 / $1,195 after February 16 / $1,295 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, breaks and 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Telco Member Full Registration:
    $1,395 by February 16 / $1,495 after February 16 / $1,595 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, breaks and 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Associate Member Registration:
    $1,995 by February 16 / $2,095 after February 16 / $2,195 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, breaks and 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party (does not include golf).
  • Spouse/Guest/Children 10 and older Registration (not a telco, broadband provider, association, vendor or employee in the industry):
    $250 by February 16 / $275 after February 16 / $300 at-the-door
    • Registration includes Welcome Reception, 20th Anniversary Fiesta Party, and breaks (does not include golf). Single event tickets will not be available for purchase. In order to avoid your guest(s) from being asked to leave a WTA function, please make sure they are registered and paid.
  • WTA Golf Tournament – Monday, April 15th
    $150 by February 16 / $160 after February 16  (if space available)
    • Includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service, box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament.

Cancellation Policy and Liability

WTA will refund 50% of registration fees (golf and sponsorships will not receive any refund) if written notice of cancellation (kelly@w-t-a.org) is received on or before March 1, 2023 (phone call cancellations will not be accepted). No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after February 16, 2024.

It is mutually agreed that WTA is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property, or personal injuries resulting from any cause. All claims for any such loss, damage or injury are expressly waived by the attendee or exhibitor.

The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio is the WTA Spring Educational Forum Headquarters – SOLD OUT

Thrive during your stay at The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio. Situated on the Riverwalk’s quiet end, this upscale hotel is near the Pearl District, home to downtown restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment. Walk to the historic Alamo or the Spanish Governor’s Palace to admire its white adobe architecture. On the weekend, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the San Antonio Zoo are just a short drive away. After a day of meetings take a swim in the outdoor heated pool near the 24-hour Westin Workout Fitness Studio. The hotel rooms and suites feature pillow-top mattresses, marble bathrooms and room service. WTA has contracted a limited number of run of house (ROH) rooms directly with The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio. WTA will not have the opportunity to increase the number of contracted rooms once the group block is full. Be sure to check the hotel’s tax, hotel fees, parking fees, additional persons charge and cancellation policies when making your reservations.

Due to the number of attendees, WTA room block, with the Westin San Antonio, is SOLD OUT and NO additional rooms will be added to the room block. WTA Spring Golf Tournament | Monday, April 15th

Start: Check In 12:00pm and Shot Gun Start is at 1:00pm.

Location: Brackenridge Park Golf Course, 2315 Avenue B, San Antonio, TX

Brackenridge Park Golf Course is the heart of the Alamo City Golf Trail. Located just north of downtown San Antonio (2.5 miles from The Westin Riverwalk), this course is accessible for locals and visitors alike. The 2008 restoration of “Old Brack” re-routed the course to A.W. Tillinghast’s (1916) original layout and renewed its conditions to compete with San Antonio’s premier golf courses. Anyone playing golf in San Antonio should tee it up at Brackenridge to enjoy its wonderful history and fun city-park layout. Brackenridge Park Golf Course is also the new site of the Texas Golf Hall of Fame. Come visit the clubhouse to see the “Walk of Fame”, the “Wall of Frames”, and the Texas Tournament Trophy Room!

Cost Per Player: $150 by February 16/$160 after February 16 if space is available. Includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service, box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament. Transportation will not be provided to/from the Brackenridge Park Golf Course. Golf club rentals will be handled through the golf course.

Teams: Pairing requests will not be accepted. Golf pairings will be selected as follows: All associate member and member golfers will be divided evenly among all the teams. Spouses will be paired together.

A minimum of 60 golfers will be required for a shotgun start. Be sure to check with the WTA Registration Desk prior to the Tournament to verify rules, teams and shot gun start/tee times. Proper golf attire required (including Practice Facilities) to include collared shirts and spikeless shoes. Rental club information will be provided to all golfers at least 30 days prior to the tournament.

Spring Educational Forum Attire

Resort casual is the dress throughout WTA’s Spring Educational Forum (unless otherwise noted). Just as a reminder it is difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature for everyone in the meeting rooms. Please bring a jacket or sweater for your comfort.

RUS Meetings Available

Private meetings with RUS representatives from Washington, DC will be scheduled on Monday and Tuesday. WTA invites you to take advantage of these one-on-one meetings. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the RUS information on the Registration Form to schedule your meeting times.
