The need for robust broadband has never been more apparent and your company plays an increasingly critical role in the health of your communities. How can we learn from these rough roads and uphill climbs? What’s around the bend in the path ahead and how can we prepare? What adjustments do we need to make to new situations and obstacles?
These questions and many others will be addressed at WTA’s 2023 Fall Educational Forum in Coeur d’Alene, ID from September 10-13 at the beautiful and serene Coeur d’Alene Golf & Spa Resort. WTA’s Educational Planning Committee Seeks Session Topics and Speakers for 2023 Educational Forums

WTA’s Educational Planning Committee invites you to share your knowledge and expertise with the attendees at the 2023 WTA Spring Educational Forum (April 23-26, 2023, Napa, CA) or 2023 WTA Fall Educational Forum (September 10-13, 2023, Coeur d’Alene, ID). WTA has always offered a remarkable lineup of education and networking opportunities targeting the needs and concerns of the WTA membership.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
The deadline for submitting session proposals for the Spring Educational Forum is Friday, December 9th, and the deadline for submitting session proposals for the Fall Educational Forum is June 2nd. All proposals must be submitted through the 2023 Educational Session Submission link below. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. A separate proposal must be submitted for each proposed session.

WTA Fall Forum Registration & Payment

Register for WTA’s Educational Forum by clicking Register & Payment below. Once you have completed the Registration process, you will have the opportunity to pay via credit card or request to be invoiced. Payment for invoices must be received within 10 days to avoid increased registration fees.

Registration will open in May, 2023.

  • Telco Member Registration:
    $899 by July 7 / after July 7 $999 / $1,099 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and receptions scheduled (does not include golf).
  • Associate Members Sponsoring Registration:
    $899 by July 7 / $999 after July 7 / $1,099 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and receptions (does not include golf). Associate Members who sponsor a minimum of $2,000 will receive this registration. Sponsoring registration discounts are noted on the registration form.
  • Associate Members NON-Sponsoring Registration:
    $1,099 by July 7 / $1,199 after July 7 / $1,299 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions and receptions (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Telco Member Registration:
    $1,399 by July 7 / $1,499 after July 7 / $1,599 at-the-door
    • Registration includes admittance into all educational sessions, receptions, and breaks (does not include golf).
  • Not a WTA Associate Member Registration:
    $1,899 by July 7 / $1,999 after July 7 / $2,099 at-the-door

    • Registration includes Welcome Reception, Dessert Reception, and breaks (does not include golf). Single event tickets will not be available for purchase. In order to avoid your guest(s) from being asked to leave a WTA function, please make sure they are registered and paid.
  • WTA Golf Tournament – Monday, September 11th, 2023
    $175 by July 7 / $185 after July 7 / or $200 at-the-door (if space available)
    • Includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service, box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. Forecaddies are required for each foursome and work on gratuities. Forecaddie gratuities are not included in the cost to play and a minimum of $25 per player is customary. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament.

Cancellation Policy and Liability

WTA will refund 50% of registration fees (golf and sponsorships will not receive any refund) if written notice of cancellation (kelly@w-t-a.org) is received on or before July 28, 2023 (phone call cancellations will not be accepted). No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after July 28, 2023.

It is mutually agreed that WTA is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property, or personal injuries resulting from any cause. All claims for any such loss, damage or injury are expressly waived by the attendee or exhibitor.

WTA has contracted a limited number of rooms directly with The Coeur d’Alene Resort. WTA will not have the opportunity to increase the number of contracted rooms. Please check the resort fees/taxes, parking fees, additional persons charge and cancellation policies when making your reservations. Cut-off date for the group reservations, based on availability is August 7, 2023. All rates include the resort fee. All reservations must be accompanied by first night’s deposit. DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION:
The Resort requires a deposit equal to the first night’s room, tax and surcharges. Room cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to one night’s payment. Be sure to review the Resort’s departure and cancellation policies.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE:
The Resort may add an early checkout fee of one room night, tax and surcharges to the guest’s individual account for early departures. Attendees wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the Resort at least fourteen (14) days prior to arrival. Be sure to review the Resort’s early departure policies.

How To Get To The Coeur d’Alene Resort
Coeur d’Alene is located in northern Idaho approximately 31 miles east of Spokane, Washington. The Coeur d’Alene Resort is easy to reach by automobile via Interstate 90 (Exit 11) or Highway 95 (Northwest Blvd.). From the exit, follow the directions to downtown and watch for The Resort on your right.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort is located 40 minutes east of the Spokane International Airport, offering non-stop or one-stop access from most major U.S. cities. Airline carriers include Alaska Airlines, America West, Delta Airlines, Horizon Airlines, Skywest, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort Destination Services offers a fleet of options for transportation between The Resort and Spokane International Airport. WTA Fall Golf Tournament | Monday, September 11, 2023

The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course | Home of the World’s Only Floating Green

Check-in time is 12:00p with a Shot Gun Start at 12:30p. A minimum of 60 golfers will be required for a shotgun start. Be sure to check with the WTA Registration Desk prior to the Tournament to verify tee times. Rental club rentals are available at by contacting the Pro Shop directly at 208.667.GOLF. Proper attire specifically designed for golf must be worn.

Cost Per Player: $175 by July 24/$185 after July 24/$200 at-the-door if space is available. Includes water taxi to the course, greens fee, cart fee, range balls, tournament service and box lunch. Beverage carts will circulate during the tournament. Forecaddies are required for each foursome and work on gratuities. Forecaddie gratuities are not included in the cost to play and a minimum of $25 per player is customary. The conference full/social registration fee is required in addition to your golf fee to participate in the tournament.

Teams: Pairing requests will not be accepted. Golf pairings will be selected as follows: All associate member and member golfers will be divided evenly among all the teams. Spouses will be paired together.

A minimum of 60 golfers will be required for a shotgun start. Be sure to check with the WTA Registration Desk prior to the Tournament to verify rules, teams and shot gun start/tee times. Proper golf attire required (including Practice Facilities) to include collared shirts and spikeless shoes. Rental club information will be provided to all golfers at least 30 days prior to the tournament.

OTHER THINGS TO DO:

The Spa Coeur d’Alene…Northwest Inspired.
The Spa Coeur d’Alene will immerse your body and soul in Northwest Cedar scents and revitalizing Alpine Mountain Waters. The Spa has agreed to give WTA attendees a 10% discount on any services over the Fall Meeting dates. Reservations are recommended. The Route of the Hiawatha mountain bike or hike trail is 15 miles long with 10 train tunnels and 7 sky high trestles. The 1.66 miles long St. Paul Pass Tunnel, also known as the Taft Tunnel, is a highlight of the trail that follows the crest of the Bitterroot Mountains near Lookout Pass Ski Area. The best part is…it’s all downhill with shuttle buses available to transport you and your bike back to the top. This family friendly trail is easily enjoyed by a wide variety of people from young children to super seniors. Trail passes, shuttle tickets and mountain bike rental are available at Lookout Pass Ski Area located right alongside Interstate 90, Exit 0, at the Idaho-Montana state line, 12 miles east of historic Wallace, Idaho. Lodge and bike rental shop open at 8:00 am. The trail is open from 8:30a to 5:00p daily. This is 61 miles from the resort. For more information.

WTA Tailgate Party | Monday, September 11, 2023

WTA will be hosting the Monday Night Tailgate Party. Attendees will enjoy the game on a large screen along with some amazing food, desserts, and beverages. A ticket is required for admission and is included in all Full and Social Registrations. Individual tickets will not be sold for this event.

WTA Foundation Fundraiser:

The WTA Foundation will be hosting its annual Fall Fundraiser during the Monday Night Tailgate Party. If you would like to donate to the fundraiser, please contact taylor@w-t-a.org. More information will be provided in the future.

Fall Educational Forum Attire

Resort casual is the dress throughout the Fall Educational Forum unless otherwise noted. Just as a reminder it is difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature for everyone in the meeting rooms. Please bring a jacket or sweater for your comfort. Be sure to bring your favorite team jersey to wear during the Monday Night Tailgate Party.

RUS Meetings Available

Private meetings with RUS representatives from Washington, DC will be scheduled on Monday and Tuesday. WTA invites you to take advantage of these one-on-one meetings. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the RUS information on the Registration Form to schedule your meeting times.
