Today, NECA, WTA, NTCA and OPASTCO filed joint comments in response to the FCC’s Public Notice on three USF and intercarrier compensation reform plans submitted by the Rural Associations, a group of larger carriers and the state members of the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service.  An associated press release was also issued.

On August 16th, MinnPost ran an op-ed written by former Senator Byron Dorgan discussing how it’s important to get USF reform right.

On Aug 4th, WTA, OPASTCO and NTCA released a joint press statement on the FCC’s further inquiry into Universal Service Fund and broadband deployment.
